“TV SHOW TIME”


Favorite Series



On this essay, I am going to write about the American programme called “Friends”.







It is set in New York city in an apartment, being the director of the programme is David Crame.


The show focuses on the date to date lives of the six main characters Ross, Rachel, Joey, Phoebe, Monica and Chandler.

Each character has his own story lines, some romantic, some work and some just trivial.


On the one hand, the show is very funny and as a viewer, you get very involved with the characters. On the other hand, it is a programme for the whole family because it has no sexual content or inappropriate language for children. 



However, it is not very realistic because often the problems which the characters face are not representative of those in real life.

To end I would recommend it because it is a show which focuses on family, community values and the importance of having good friends.

Name: Monica E. Geller (Courtney Cox)  
Own characteristics:
Obsession of order and cleanliness.
She is very competitive.
She likes to be the hostess.
He has a lot of rivalry with Ross.
Job: Chef
Character Curiosities:
She is the link of the Group.
Her hair is curled in damp places.
His first kiss was with Ross.
Her parents crush her a lot.
His father gives him a Porsche.
Joey mocked him when he met him.
He is very afraid of the eye doctor.

Name: Ross Eustace Geller (David Swimmer)
Own characteristics:
He's very cunning.
The one who gets into more conflicts.
It's his parents' favorite
Family: Monica's brother. Her parents are happily married. Two Children, with Carol and Rachel.
Jobs: Paleontologist
Character Curiosities:
He has been divorced 3 times.
He had a monkey named Marcel.
The only one who has not lived on Monica's flat throughout the series.
Addicted to maple syrup candy.


Nombre: Rachel Karen Green (Jennifer Aniston) 

Own characteristics:
It is often described as the most popular.
It's a bit awkward.
She has a special interest in fashion.
She's the one who hates Chandler's jokes because she does not get them.
Family: She has two sisters, Jill (Reese Witherspoon) and Amy (Christina Applegate), and separate parents. He ends up having a daughter, Emma, with Ross
Jobs: Waitress, Purchasing Assistant, Purchasing Manager
Character Curiosities:
The nose has been operated.
Book: The glow and the Desollinador that was an erotic novel (without title).
She's very fan of the soap operas and his favorite film is "This dead is very alive".

It is the most flirt.
The one who eats the most.
The most foolish.
He does not share food.
Family: He has 6 sisters, his parents are together but he has a lover.
Jobs: Actor, waiter, Roman in Las Vegas, promoter of perfumes cowboy, operator on the PBS telemarathon

He loves the movie Giant.


Name: Phoebe Buffay (Lisa Kudrow)
Own characteristics:
She's the most extravagant of the 6.
She has had a very hard childhood living in the street.
She's vegetarian.
She runs oddly.
Family: She has an evil twin, Ursula (Lisa Kudrow), has a brother by her father, Frank Jr, and her parents abandoned her as a child.
Works: Masajista, Cantautora, extra in "The Days of Our Life"
Character Curiosities:
She was married to a gay man.
She had his brother's triplets.
She liked Sesame Street as a child.
She composes although she does not know how to play the guitar


Name: Chandler Muriel Bing (Matthew Perry)
Own characteristics:
He is the most funny.
They are afraid of dogs.
They always insinuate that he is gay.
Family: He is an only child, his parents are separated and he is a transvestite. Marries monica
Jobs: "Transpositor" Data, Creative Advertiser

He lacks a little finger of the foot.

It always goes wrong in the photos.
He lived one season out of New York, in Tulsa.

“Me in 10 year´s time”

I am going to start saying that it is very difficult to me to think what I will do with my life in 10 years because I am very happy doing the things what I am doing now, but in this essay, I will try to change my mind. First of all, I think that I will be living in a big city like Madrid or Barcelona.
