Historical Event


In my opinion, the most important historical event was the invention of Internet. The Internet is the union of all the networks and computers distributed all over the world.
The Internet has certainly changed our everyday life. There are so many changes that it is difficult to list them. We can make bank transactions without going to the bank. We can deal with the administration paperwork without going to the office. We can see all kind of entertainment contents. We can get in touch with people through the social media. We can ask for an appointment with our doctor. We can study online. It is certainly changing our lives.



Internet was the result of an experiment of the United States Department of Defense in 1969, that took shape in the development of “ARPAnet”, a network that linked universities and high technology centers with contractors of that department.

It was aimed at exchanging data between scientists and the military. Nowadays, it has become an important tool in our society because it allows to communicate, search, and transfer information by eliminating the barriers of time and space.
The Internet has got a lot of advantages but it has also meant some negative thinks like creating addiction, having very dangerous content and falling away family communication.

The Internet is a valuable educational resource, Students can now access free online educational materials, free Web-based courseware and much more.

On the other hand, the internet offers a world of entertainment, opportunity, and knowledge to people we say nothing new.


Another very dangerous issue are malware (malicious software) wich a great danger. The dangers may be to our machine, to information, to our financial situation, or even to us. Malware can corrupt our machine. It can destroy data and software. It can even destroy hardware.

I am worried about the digital divide, the growing digital divide, which constitutes a genuine knowledge gap, increasing development inequalities. The digital gap exist between rich and poor countries, between the elderly and the young, between those with studies and those who have not finished their studies...


In conclusion, it can be very useful in our society but we have to watch out for some dangerous risks that it involves.

“Me in 10 year´s time”

I am going to start saying that it is very difficult to me to think what I will do with my life in 10 years because I am very happy doing the things what I am doing now, but in this essay, I will try to change my mind. First of all, I think that I will be living in a big city like Madrid or Barcelona. Also, I believe that I will be working in a hospital or in a private clinic seeing that I would like to be a doctor.  Furthermore, I strongly believe that in 10 years I will do a lot of sport, playing golf or working in a gym and I think that I will travel a lot because I like to know other cultures and other different places in the world .  Finally, I also believe that in ten years I will have a stable partner but I still wouldn´t like to have children because I will only be 27 years old  and as I would like to go out at night with my friends. In short, I would like to have a relaxed life with a stable job, enjoying my friends and my hobbies.
